Contexte General :
Sesomo – Sogead recrute pour le compte d’un de ses clients, Société œuvrant dans le secteur de l'aviation, un HR MANAGER CONGO en contrat à durée indéterminée.
The HR manager Congo acts as the business partner for all HR related matters in Congo and has an advisory role towards the line management. Further, he/she ensures transparent and efficient administrative HR procedures and correct local Com&Ben management, and implements HR procedures imposed by HQ. He manages the relations with the staff representatives and handles the day-to-day issues with the labor unions.
Key result areas
Key result area 1: To establish correct and efficient industrial relations through formal and informal meetings with the staff representatives and the unions and through preparation, implementation and follow-up of files that contribute to a climate of social peace.
Key result area 2: To ensure a correct and efficient management of the local compensation and benefits, including an efficient payroll management through a continuous optimalisation and review of pay-roll procedures and by establishing correct working relations with the payroll agency.
Key result area 3: To implement transparent and user-friendly administrative HR procedures for both management and staff, whilst hereby complying with HQ instructions and guidelines.
Key result area 4: To support the line management, both locally and in HQ, by acting as an advisor, concerning HR issues such as department organization and staff planning, hiring and firing, compensation and benefits, training, discipline and sanctions…; and by implementing and supervising the agreed upon decisions.
Key result area 5: Ad hoc responsibilities such as follow-up of legal files regarding staff, representing the company in formal meetings (FEC, labor inspection, Embassy,…) and (in)formal events, functional collaboration with HQ colleagues for specific files or issues,
Diploma and/or educational level required for the job
University Degree, specialization in HR is a plus
Relevant experience required for the job
HR experience in a mid sized company with around 150 employees as a generalist or a specialist is a plus
Technical skills required for the job
- Software: MS Office (Word, Excell, Powerpoint), Outlook, Internet
- Excellent knowledge of the social and labor legislation in RDC
- Project management skills
- Diplomacy; empathy, good listening skills, intercultural awareness
- Perfect knowledge of English is a must (aviation language)
